Activities Performed: ● Conducted social baseline assessments in the project area to understand community conditions, water use practices, and livelihood dependence on groundwater resources. ● Identified potential social risks and impacts associated with groundwater development and related project activities. ● Carried out stakeholder consultations with local communities, relevant institutions, and other concerned parties. ● Assessed issues related to access to water resources, resource use conflicts, vulnerability, and community health and safety. ● Reviewed the concerns of affected and vulnerable groups in relation to groundwater abstraction and management. ● Contributed to the development of mitigation measures and social management recommendations for the ESIA. ● Supported the documentation of consultation findings, stakeholder feedback, and key social issues in the assessment report. Provided inputs on social safeguards, inclusion, and community engagement considerations for project planning and implementation.
