Technical Assistance for the Preparatory Activities of the Proposed Chattogram WASH Improvement Project (CWIP).

Activities Performed: ● Conducted social baseline assessments in the proposed project areas to understand community conditions and service-related issues. ● Identified potential social risks and impacts associated with the proposed WASH improvement interventions. ● Carried out stakeholder consultations with communities, local representatives, and relevant institutions. ● Assessed issues related to access to services, land use, livelihoods, and community health and safety. ● Reviewed the needs and concerns of vulnerable and underserved groups in relation to project design and implementation. ● Contributed to the development of social mitigation measures and management recommendations during project preparation. ● Supported the documentation of stakeholder feedback, consultation outcomes, and key social findings. Provided inputs on social safeguards, inclusion, and community engagement aspects for the preparatory studies.
